Title IX Corner: Dating Violence Awareness Month
Dating violence is more common than many people think. One in three teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship with before they become adults. And nearly half (43%) of dating college women report experiencing violent and abusive dating behaviors.聽Help us spread advocacy during Dating Violence Awareness Month, and stop dating abuse before it starts!
The theme for 2018 is:聽鈥淗ands Unite: Do your Part.鈥

Respect Week is February 12th-16th.聽聽 has a National Respect Announcement for helping friends learn about healthy relationships: 鈥淲e鈥檇 like to remind you that everyone has the right to a healthy and safe relationship free of abuse.
